A very attractive 19th century traditional French style farmhouse situated 500m from a charming village with one of the oldest churches in the region next to a Manor House (where the owners of the property now live). Prior to moving to the Manor House the owners lived in the property for several years and this was their family home as reflected in the comfort offered. The farmhouse is situated a few kilometres from the village of Pontvallain (shops and restaurants) and Le Lude (shops, restaurants) famouse for its Renaissance Chateau and a short drive to the town of Le Mans with its medieval "quartier" and pleasant pedestrian town centre. The chateaux of the Loire are an easy drive away as is the attractive lake complex of Mansigne with its beach, boat hire, swimming etc. 

The property comprises the following:

  • Comfortable lounge with sofas, oak beams, open fire and sofa bed
  • Farmhouse style kitchen equipped with gas oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with open fireplace and large kitchen table with a door leading to small back terrace
  • Ground floor bedroom with double bed, armoire/dressing table, ensuite bathroom with shower and separate WC
  • Upstairs bedroom with vaulted ceiling with exposed beams and twin beds
  • Upstairs bedroom with 3 single beds and selection of toys
  • Upstairs bathroom with toilet
  • A heated SWIMMING POOL (5m x 10m) is located in a sheltered enclosed courtyard at the rear of the property
  • The grounds are extensive with a 3000m2 lawn in front of the property overlooking open countryside and a pretty flower garden to the rear. There is also a forest to explore. The French owners who live nearby are happy to give guests a guided tour of their farm and tell them about the many kinds of fruits and vegetables produced in the region
  • Garden furniture and barbeque
  • ALL LINEN PROVIDED
  • Lake complex for boating activities 10 minutes away;
  • Upstairs bedroom, with vaulted ceiling with exposed oak beams and double bed with large windows overlooking the huge lawn at front of house
