The sunny climate and the Mediterranean way of life offer something for everyone, no matter what your interests may be. Around every corner there seems to be another provencal hillside village with its narrow streets, market squares and Roman fountains, a field of lavender, or a delicious meal of bouillabaisse or aioli on a chequered table cloth with a bottle of vin de provence or pastis. The varied Mediterranean coast stretches from the Italian Riviera to the East and the white cliffs behind Menton through to the red Esterel Mountains with their varied hill walking between Cannes and St. Raphael to the green Mauves Mountains and the white cliffs leading to the major port of Marseilles. Inland, the hills of Provence include the Luberon, Saint Victoire and Saint Baume.

Provencal cookery courses are available taught by a Master Chef in the idyllic surroundings of a hilltop village. Guests stay at the Hostellerie with rooms overlooking the local vineyards.
