Villa Belle Epoque, "Pieds dans l'eau" Direct Swimming in sea from private pontoon.
Approached through a large automatic gateway which mysteriously opens leading you up through a 100 year old garden of mature palm trees and marvellous scents until you arrive in front of the three story house covered in purple wisteria hovering over the sea! Built in 1875 this magnificent "belle époque" villa welcomes you into another era and it would be a privilege to be allowed to spend some time in this enchanted setting! Villa Belle Epoque is situated on the Corniche between Agay and St. Raphael in Boulouris where there are still some remaining Belle Epoque properties. The attractive town of St. Raphael with its daily market, its TGV train station, variety of restaurants, casino, boat trips to the Ile des Lerins, St. Tropez and excursions along the rugged Esterel Coastline is only 5 minutes away. The historic center of Frejus with its Roman remains and military heritage is only 10 minutes away. The renowned golf courses of Valescure are 10 minutes away as is the sandy beach and attractive bay of Agay with its watersports and the deep sea diving centre at Le Dramont. The provencal hillside villages of Callian, Montaroux, Garde Freinet, Le Thoronet, Fayence, Flayosc, Tanneron, Gassin, Grimaud are an easy drive away and the resorts of Cannes (41kms), Nice (60kms), St. Tropez (38kms) are easily accessible.

OUR COMMENT: This turn of the century "belle époque" villa is a delight! It is very unusual to find a property like this on the private rental market. The French owners are adding improvements to their family home constantly. However part of this property's charm is its lack of modern day "trappings" and the feeling that you are living in another century!
