The property is situated approximately 15 minutes from Cannes, 30 minutes from Nice Airport and 1 hour from Monaco/Italy. The seaside resort of St Raphael with its beaches, daily market, restaurants, shops and sea excursions to St. Tropez, the Porquerolles Islands, the nature reserve of Ile de Port Cros, the Ile Ste Margeurite, Port Grimaud etc is nearby as is the historic centre of Frejus itself with its Roman remains, market and provencal squares with enticing restaurants. The provencal hilltop villages of Fayence, Roquebrune sur Argens, Callian, Montaroux, Bagnols en Foret, Lorgues, Flayosc are an easy drive away as are the vineyards of Cote de Bandol and Cote Varois. The spectacular Gorges du Verdon (Grand Canyon) and its villages of Aiguines (chateau) and Moustiers Ste Marie (famous for its pottery) are an interesting drive away. There are bakers, grocers etc within walking distance from the property if you do not want to drive down to St. Raphael or Frejus. Within the area are horse riding facilities, golf courses at Valescure and sailing, water skiing, diving at Agay/Dramont.
