This charming villa is situated on the outskirts of the hilltop provencal village of La Garde Freinet with restaurants, shops and provencal square, 20 kilometres inland from St. Tropez with stunning views across the Maures mountains. The provencal hilltop villages of Grimaud, Gassin, Ramatuelle, Collobrieres, Bormes les Mimosas are nearby as are the beaches and seaside resorts of St. Tropez, Ste Maxime, Cavalaire and Le Canadel.  The historic centers of Aix en Provence and Draguignan, capital of the Var are an easy drive away as are Toulon and Nice airport. There are several sea excursions from nearby Cavalaire and Toulon to the Porquerolles islands and Port Cros nature reserve. The resort towns of Cannes, Ventimiglia (Italy) and Toulon are also within driving distance. The vineyards of Bandol and Provence surround the area and there is wine tasting at nearby “caves”.

OUR COMMENT:  This property is very spacious with wonderful views over the surrounding countryside and over the Maures mountains. One can have a very relaxing holiday in this property away from “ the madding crowd” but join them when required !
