Nice, Antibes, Aix en Provence, Monte Carlo, Ventimiglia (Italy) are within easy driving distance for a day trip. The lakes of Carces and St Cassien with their boat hire and the Gorges du Verdon with its spectacular scenery and enticing restaurants and pottery centres such as St Marie de Moustiers are all nearby.
